1. Introduction
Welcome to Vidora ("App", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Vidora on your Android device.
By using Vidora, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- URLs you paste or share — to process your download request. Not stored beyond the session.
- Instagram login credentials (if you use Instagram login feature) — stored locally on your device only, using AES-256 encrypted storage. Never transmitted to our servers.
2.2 Automatically collected information
- Clipboard content — checked on app launch to auto-paste video URLs. Only URLs starting with http/https are used. We do not read, store, or transmit other clipboard content.
- Device security state — we check if your device is rooted or running on an emulator to prevent advertising fraud. This is checked locally and is not transmitted.
- Firebase Analytics — basic app usage data (screen views, app opens) collected by Google Firebase. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- AdMob advertising data — Google AdMob collects advertising identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
2.3 Information we do NOT collect
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Location data
- Contacts or call logs
- Browsing history beyond URLs you actively paste
- Downloaded file contents

4. Advertising
Vidora uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including:
- Native ads (home screen)
- Rewarded ads (before and after downloads)
- Banner ads (files screen)
Google AdMob may collect your Advertising ID and device information. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.

5. Third-Party Services
Vidora integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase Analytics — app usage analytics
- Google AdMob — advertising
- yt-dlp / YoutubeDL-Android — video extraction engine (open source, no data collection)
- Fast Android Networking — HTTP requests (open source)
- OkHttp — HTTP client (open source)
Vidora does not share your personal data with third parties except as required by these integrated services.
6. Supported Platforms & Copyright Notice
Vidora supports downloading content from 44+ platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Reddit, Vimeo, SoundCloud, and others.
YouTube downloads are disabled in the Play Store version in compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service.
7. Data Security
We implement the following security measures to protect your data:
Instagram login credentials are stored using AndroidX EncryptedSharedPreferences with AES-256-GCM key encryption and AES-256-SIV value encryption. They are never transmitted outside your device.
8. Children's Privacy
Vidora is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Data Retention & Deletion
Since Vidora does not maintain user accounts or servers, there is no user data retained by us.
- Instagram credentials — stored only on your device. Delete via app Settings → Clear Instagram Login, or by uninstalling the app. This data is not included in Android backups or device transfer.
- Session cookies — stored only on your device and excluded from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Cookies are cleared when you log out or uninstall the app.
- Downloaded files — stored in your device's Downloads/Vidora folder. Delete manually from your gallery or file manager.
- Firebase Analytics data — retained per Google's data retention policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
